USA Make Two Changes To Weber Cup Team

The teams for this year's PartyPoker.com Weber Cup have been announced, with the USA making two changes in an attempt to wrestle the title back from the Europeans.

Tim Mack, who was previously the only bowler to play in all eleven Weber Cups, has made way, while Pete Weber, whose father has the tournament named after him, has also been left out.

In their places have come Team USA bowlers Bill O'Neill and Michael Fagan. Both players will be making their debuts in the event.

Tommy Jones and Chris Barnes return to accompany the two newcomers, with Barnes taking over the captaincy with Mack's departure.

The Europeans are unchanged from the side that overcame the Americans 17-13 last year, with Dominic Barrett, Mika Koivuniemi, Paul Moor and captain Osku Palermaa returning to defend their title.

The event will once again take place at the Barnsley Metrodome and will run from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th October. For tickets, contact Matchroom Sport at info@matchroom.com.
